S\u0131ralara oturduklar\u0131nda sadece derslerle de\u011fil, hayatla ilgili de yeni \u015feyler \u00f6\u011frenecekler. Biz velilerin ortak dile\u011fi ise ayn\u0131: \u00c7ocuklar\u0131m\u0131z\u0131n sadece ba\u015far\u0131l\u0131 de\u011fil, ayn\u0131 zamanda <strong>g\u00fc\u00e7l\u00fc, karakter sahibi ve mutlu bireyler<\/strong> olarak yeti\u015fmesi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ancak son y\u0131llarda s\u0131k\u00e7a fark etti\u011fimiz bir ger\u00e7ek var: \u00c7ocuklar giderek daha k\u0131r\u0131lgan, daha dayan\u0131ks\u0131z, daha az \u00f6zdenetimli hale geliyor. Amerikal\u0131 hekim ve psikolog Leonard Sax, <em>Ebeveynli\u011fin \u00c7\u00f6k\u00fc\u015f\u00fc<\/em> (<em>The Collapse of Parenting<\/em>) kitab\u0131nda bu meseleyi kapsaml\u0131 bi\u00e7imde inceliyor. Sax\u2019a g\u00f6re modern ebeveynlik anlay\u0131\u015f\u0131nda ya\u015fanan kaymalar, \u00e7ocuklar\u0131n ge\u00e7mi\u015f ku\u015faklara k\u0131yasla \u00e7ok daha fazla sorun ya\u015famas\u0131na yol a\u00e7\u0131yor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sax\u2019\u0131n uyar\u0131lar\u0131, bizlere \u015fu sorular\u0131 d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnd\u00fcr\u00fcyor: \u00c7ocuklar\u0131m\u0131z\u0131 ger\u00e7ekten hayata haz\u0131rl\u0131yor muyuz? Onlar\u0131 koruyay\u0131m derken asl\u0131nda g\u00fc\u00e7s\u00fcz m\u00fc b\u0131rak\u0131yoruz? Onlara sevgi verirken sorumluluk kazand\u0131rmay\u0131 ihmal mi ediyoruz?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yeni e\u011fitim y\u0131l\u0131na girerken, bu sorular\u0131n cevab\u0131n\u0131 aramak i\u00e7in Sax\u2019\u0131n kitab\u0131ndaki temel temalar\u0131 bilimsel ara\u015ft\u0131rmalar ve ki\u015fisel g\u00f6zlemlerle harmanlayarak ele almak istiyorum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1. \u00c7ocu\u011fun Merkezde Olmas\u0131 ve Otoritenin Zay\u0131flamas\u0131<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>G\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fcz ailelerinde s\u0131k\u00e7a g\u00f6rd\u00fc\u011f\u00fcm\u00fcz bir tablo var: \u00c7ocuklar evin merkezinde. Yemekte ne yenilece\u011fine, tatilde nereye gidilece\u011fine, hangi etkinli\u011fe kat\u0131l\u0131naca\u011f\u0131na \u00e7o\u011fu zaman \u00e7ocuk karar veriyor. Hatta baz\u0131 veliler okul se\u00e7imini bile \u00e7ocuklar\u0131n\u0131n tercihine b\u0131rak\u0131yor. Bu tablo ilk bak\u0131\u015fta demokratik ve sayg\u0131l\u0131 bir yakla\u015f\u0131m gibi g\u00f6r\u00fcnebilir. Fakat Sax\u2019\u0131n alt\u0131n\u0131 \u00e7izdi\u011fi gibi, bu anlay\u0131\u015f <strong>\u00e7ocu\u011fun hayata haz\u0131rlanmas\u0131n\u0131 de\u011fil, hayata kar\u015f\u0131 savunmas\u0131z kalmas\u0131n\u0131<\/strong> beraberinde getiriyor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c7ocuklar\u0131n her iste\u011finin an\u0131nda yerine getirilmesi, onlar\u0131n sab\u0131r ve \u00f6zdenetim geli\u015ftirmesini engelliyor. K\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck bir a\u00e7l\u0131k hissetmesine bile f\u0131rsat verilmeyen \u00e7ocuk, ileride en k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck zorlukta bile tahamm\u00fcls\u00fcz oluyor. Ara\u015ft\u0131rmalar, \u00e7ocuklar\u0131n isteklerinin an\u0131nda kar\u015f\u0131lanmas\u0131n\u0131n obezite riskini ve ba\u011f\u0131ml\u0131l\u0131k davran\u0131\u015flar\u0131n\u0131 art\u0131rd\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 g\u00f6steriyor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Daha tehlikelisi, ebeveynlerin \u201c\u00e7ocu\u011fum beni sevsin\u201d kayg\u0131s\u0131yla s\u0131n\u0131r koymaktan \u00e7ekinmeleri. Oysa Sax\u2019\u0131n s\u00f6yledi\u011fi gibi, ebeveyn otoritesini kaybeden bir ailede \u00e7ocuk, k\u0131sa vadede istedi\u011fini elde etse de uzun vadede sevgiyi ve sayg\u0131y\u0131 kaybeder. \u00c7ocu\u011fun size k\u0131zmas\u0131, \u00f6fkelenmesi ge\u00e7icidir; ama sizin ona verdi\u011finiz rehberlik ve g\u00fcven kal\u0131c\u0131d\u0131r.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Buradaki alt\u0131n denge \u015fudur: <strong>Ebeveyn otoritesi sertlik de\u011fil, rehberliktir.<\/strong> \u00c7ocu\u011funuzun hayat\u0131nda birincil rehber siz olmal\u0131s\u0131n\u0131z. Arkada\u015flar\u0131 ona e\u011flence sunabilir, ama de\u011ferleri ve hayat pusulas\u0131n\u0131 ebeveyninden \u00f6\u011frenmelidir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2. \u00d6zdenetim Eksikli\u011fi ve Sorumluluk Krizi<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bug\u00fcn e\u011fitim ara\u015ft\u0131rmalar\u0131n\u0131n ortaya koydu\u011fu en net sonu\u00e7lardan biri \u015fu: <strong>Hayatta ba\u015far\u0131y\u0131 belirleyen \u015fey notlar de\u011fil, \u00f6zdenetimdir.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u0130ngiltere\u2019de 1970 do\u011fumlu 17 binden fazla \u00e7ocuk 38 ya\u015f\u0131na kadar izlenmi\u015f. Sonu\u00e7 \u00e7arp\u0131c\u0131: Y\u00fcksek IQ\u2019ya sahip ama \u00f6zdenetimi zay\u0131f bireyler ba\u015far\u0131s\u0131z olurken, d\u00fc\u015f\u00fck IQ\u2019lu ama disiplinli, sab\u0131rl\u0131 ve sorumluluk sahibi bireyler hayatta \u00e7ok daha ileriye gitmi\u015f. Benzer bir ara\u015ft\u0131rma Yeni Zelanda\u2019da yap\u0131ld\u0131. 3 ya\u015f\u0131nda \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fclen \u00f6zdenetim puanlar\u0131, \u00e7ocuklar\u0131n 30\u2019lu ya\u015flar\u0131nda sa\u011fl\u0131k durumlar\u0131n\u0131, finansal ba\u015far\u0131lar\u0131n\u0131 ve su\u00e7 kay\u0131tlar\u0131n\u0131 \u00f6ng\u00f6r\u00fcyordu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bunlar bize \u015funu s\u00f6yl\u00fcyor: \u00c7ocu\u011funuzun ileride ba\u015far\u0131l\u0131 ve mutlu olmas\u0131n\u0131 istiyorsan\u0131z, ona \u00f6zdenetim kazand\u0131rman\u0131z gerekiyor. \u00d6zdenetim do\u011fu\u015ftan gelmez; \u00f6\u011frenilir. \u00dcstelik k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck ya\u015flarda \u00f6\u011frenildi\u011finde \u00e7ok daha kal\u0131c\u0131d\u0131r.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Somut \u00f6rnekler:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u201cSebzeni yemeden tatl\u0131 yok\u201d kural\u0131 \u00e7ocu\u011fa arzular\u0131n\u0131 ertelemeyi \u00f6\u011fretir.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u201c\u00d6dev bitmeden oyun yok\u201d disiplini sorumluluk bilinci kazand\u0131r\u0131r.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>K\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck g\u00f6revler (odas\u0131n\u0131 toplamak, taba\u011f\u0131n\u0131 kald\u0131rmak) al\u0131\u015fkanl\u0131k haline geldi\u011finde sorumluluk duygusunu besler.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Unutmayal\u0131m: \u00d6zdenetim, gelecekte \u00e7ocu\u011fumuzun hem akademik hem mesleki hem de ki\u015fisel hayat\u0131nda en \u00f6nemli pusula olacakt\u0131r.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>3. Erdemler S\u00f6zle De\u011fil Al\u0131\u015fkanl\u0131kla Kazand\u0131r\u0131l\u0131r<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Her anne-baba \u00e7ocu\u011funun d\u00fcr\u00fcst, yard\u0131msever, \u00e7al\u0131\u015fkan olmas\u0131n\u0131 ister. Ancak erdemler sadece nasihatle \u00f6\u011frenilmez. Aristoteles\u2019in dedi\u011fi gibi: <em>\u201cBiz tekrar tekrar yapt\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131z \u015feylerden ibaretiz. M\u00fckemmellik, bir eylem de\u011fil, bir al\u0131\u015fkanl\u0131kt\u0131r.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sax\u2019\u0131n vurgulad\u0131\u011f\u0131 nokta \u015fu: \u00c7ocuklar\u0131n \u00f6nce erdemin de\u011ferine inan\u0131p sonra erdemli davranmas\u0131n\u0131 beklemek yanl\u0131\u015f. Tam tersine, \u00e7ocuk \u00f6nce erdemli davran\u0131\u015flara y\u00f6nlendirilir; zamanla bu davran\u0131\u015flar karakterinin bir par\u00e7as\u0131 haline gelir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00d6rne\u011fin payla\u015fmay\u0131 \u00f6\u011fretmek i\u00e7in uzun uzun konu\u015fmak yerine, \u00e7ocu\u011fun karde\u015fiyle ya da arkada\u015f\u0131yla e\u015fyalar\u0131n\u0131 payla\u015fmas\u0131n\u0131 sa\u011flamak \u00e7ok daha etkili. Empati kazand\u0131rmak i\u00e7in \u201cSen olsayd\u0131n ne hissederdin?\u201d sorusu k\u0131ymetli ama yetersizdir. \u00c7ocu\u011fun bizzat farkl\u0131 hayat \u015fartlar\u0131n\u0131 deneyimlemesi, empatiyi kal\u0131c\u0131 k\u0131lar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Burada en kritik nokta, ebeveynin \u00f6rnek olmas\u0131d\u0131r. \u00c7ocu\u011funuza d\u00fcr\u00fcst olmay\u0131 \u00f6\u011f\u00fctlerken siz k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck yalanlar s\u00f6ylerseniz, verdi\u011finiz mesaj bo\u015fa \u00e7\u0131kar. \u00c7ocuklar s\u00f6z\u00fcm\u00fczden \u00e7ok davran\u0131\u015f\u0131m\u0131z\u0131 taklit eder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>4. Aile Ba\u011flar\u0131n\u0131n \u00d6nemi ve Ko\u015fulsuz Sevgi<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c7ocu\u011fun en g\u00fcvenli ba\u011f\u0131, ailesiyle kurdu\u011fu ba\u011fd\u0131r. Ancak modern d\u00fcnyada \u00e7ocuklar\u0131n ba\u011fl\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131 giderek akranlar\u0131na kay\u0131yor. Bu da onlar\u0131 olgunla\u015fmam\u0131\u015f akran k\u00fclt\u00fcr\u00fcn\u00fcn etkisine a\u00e7\u0131k hale getiriyor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kanadal\u0131 psikolog Gordon Neufeld, g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fcz \u00e7ocuklar\u0131n\u0131n \u201cbirbirleri taraf\u0131ndan b\u00fcy\u00fct\u00fcld\u00fc\u011f\u00fcn\u00fc\u201d s\u00f6yl\u00fcyor. \u00c7ocuklar de\u011ferleri, tutumlar\u0131, tav\u0131rlar\u0131 ebeveynlerinden de\u011fil, akranlar\u0131ndan \u00f6\u011freniyor. Bunun sonucu ise Sax\u2019\u0131n ifadesiyle \u201csayg\u0131s\u0131zl\u0131k k\u00fclt\u00fcr\u00fc.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Oysa aile ba\u011flar\u0131 g\u00fc\u00e7l\u00fc oldu\u011funda \u00e7ocuk daha diren\u00e7li, daha g\u00fcvenli ve daha mutlu oluyor. Ara\u015ft\u0131rmalar, aileleriyle s\u0131k s\u0131k ak\u015fam yeme\u011fi yiyen gen\u00e7lerin depresyon, kayg\u0131 ve riskli davran\u0131\u015flardan daha uzak oldu\u011funu g\u00f6steriyor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aile ba\u011flar\u0131n\u0131 g\u00fc\u00e7lendirmenin yolu basittir ama s\u00fcreklilik ister:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ortak yemekler<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hafta sonu y\u00fcr\u00fcy\u00fc\u015fleri<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tatil ve seyahatler<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>K\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck aile rit\u00fcelleri<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c7ocu\u011funuzun ilk ba\u011fl\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131 ailesine olursa, d\u0131\u015f d\u00fcnyadaki hayal k\u0131r\u0131kl\u0131klar\u0131na kar\u015f\u0131 \u00e7ok daha g\u00fc\u00e7l\u00fc olacakt\u0131r.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>5. S\u0131n\u0131r Koyman\u0131n Gereklili\u011fi<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>S\u0131n\u0131r koymak, \u00e7ocu\u011fa \u201chay\u0131r\u201d diyebilmek, ebeveynli\u011fin en zor ama en gerekli g\u00f6revlerinden biridir. G\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fczde bir\u00e7ok ebeveyn \u00e7ocu\u011fuyla pazarl\u0131k yapmay\u0131 tercih ediyor: \u201cSence art\u0131k eve gitsek mi?\u201d Oysa k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck bir \u00e7ocu\u011fun ihtiyac\u0131 olan \u015fey netliktir. \u201cArt\u0131k eve gitme zaman\u0131\u201d gibi kararl\u0131 ifadeler, \u00e7ocu\u011fun g\u00fcven duygusunu art\u0131r\u0131r.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sax\u2019\u0131n dikkat \u00e7ekti\u011fi bir di\u011fer nokta uyku d\u00fczeni. Eskiden ebeveynler yatma saati konusunda netti. Bug\u00fcn bir\u00e7ok \u00e7ocuk ge\u00e7 saatlere kadar ekran ba\u015f\u0131nda kal\u0131yor. Otoritenin kayb\u0131, sa\u011fl\u0131kl\u0131 al\u0131\u015fkanl\u0131klar\u0131n kayb\u0131n\u0131 da getiriyor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>S\u0131n\u0131rlar, \u00e7ocu\u011fu k\u0131s\u0131tlamak i\u00e7in de\u011fil, onu korumak i\u00e7in konur. Sayg\u0131s\u0131z davran\u0131\u015f\u0131n sonu\u00e7lar\u0131 net olmal\u0131, kurallar sevgiyle ama tutarl\u0131l\u0131kla uygulanmal\u0131d\u0131r. \u00c7ocuklar her ne kadar \u015fikayet etseler de, derinde s\u0131n\u0131rlar\u0131 olan ebeveynlere daha \u00e7ok g\u00fcvenir ve sayg\u0131 duyarlar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>6. Dijital Ba\u011f\u0131ml\u0131l\u0131k ve Ger\u00e7ek D\u00fcnya<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ebeveynlerin en b\u00fcy\u00fck s\u0131navlar\u0131ndan biri de dijital ba\u011f\u0131ml\u0131l\u0131k. \u00c7ocuklar saatlerce telefon, tablet, bilgisayar ba\u015f\u0131nda. Ara\u015ft\u0131rmalar, g\u00fcnde 7 saat ekran kar\u015f\u0131s\u0131nda vakit ge\u00e7iren gen\u00e7lerin kayg\u0131 ve depresyon belirtileri g\u00f6sterme olas\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131n iki kat artt\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 ortaya koyuyor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00dcstelik ekranlar uyku d\u00fczenini bozuyor, dikkat s\u00fcresini k\u0131salt\u0131yor ve \u00e7ocuklar\u0131 sosyal ili\u015fkilerden uzakla\u015ft\u0131r\u0131yor. \u00c7ocu\u011fun odas\u0131nda televizyon veya telefon bulundurmak, onun uyku kalitesini ve akademik ba\u015far\u0131s\u0131n\u0131 do\u011frudan olumsuz etkiliyor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ebeveynlere d\u00fc\u015fen g\u00f6rev net:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ya\u015fa uygun ekran s\u00fcreleri belirlemek<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cihazlar\u0131 yatak odas\u0131ndan uzak tutmak<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Yemek masas\u0131nda telefonlar\u0131 yasaklamak<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dijital detoks g\u00fcnleri planlamak<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>En \u00f6nemlisi de, ekran\u0131n yerini alacak <strong>ger\u00e7ek d\u00fcnya deneyimleri<\/strong> sunmak: Spor, sanat, do\u011fa y\u00fcr\u00fcy\u00fc\u015fleri, aile oyunlar\u0131\u2026 \u00c7ocuk, ger\u00e7ek ili\u015fkilerden tat almay\u0131 \u00f6\u011frenirse ekrana mahk\u00fbm olmaz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>7. K\u00fclt\u00fcr ve De\u011ferler: Moderniteye Kar\u015f\u0131 Erdemler<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pop\u00fcler k\u00fclt\u00fcr \u00e7ocuklara s\u00fcrekli yanl\u0131\u015f mesajlar veriyor. Dizilerde, \u00e7izgi filmlerde ebeveynler genellikle saf, komik ya da etkisiz karakterler olarak resmediliyor. \u00c7ocuklar ise her \u015feyi bilen, ak\u0131ll\u0131 tipler. Bu tablo, \u00e7ocuklara \u201cebeveynlerini dinleme, onlar anlamaz\u201d mesaj\u0131 a\u015f\u0131l\u0131yor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sax, bu durumun \u201csayg\u0131s\u0131zl\u0131k k\u00fclt\u00fcr\u00fc\u201d olu\u015fturdu\u011funu s\u00f6yl\u00fcyor. Ayr\u0131ca g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fczde \u00f6zg\u00fcven pompalama anlay\u0131\u015f\u0131 da yanl\u0131\u015f bir yere evrildi. \u00c7ocuklara s\u00fcrekli \u201cHarikas\u0131n, e\u015fsizsin\u201d denmesi, onlar\u0131n ger\u00e7ek hayatta hayal k\u0131r\u0131kl\u0131\u011f\u0131 ya\u015famas\u0131na yol a\u00e7\u0131yor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Unutulan erdemlerden biri de tevazu. Eskiden pek \u00e7ok k\u00fclt\u00fcrde al\u00e7akg\u00f6n\u00fcll\u00fcl\u00fck y\u00fcce bir de\u011ferdi. Bug\u00fcn ise geri planda kald\u0131. Oysa \u00e7ocuklar\u0131m\u0131z\u0131 ger\u00e7ek hayata haz\u0131rlaman\u0131n yolu onlara \u015f\u00fckran duymay\u0131, m\u00fctevaz\u0131 olmay\u0131 \u00f6\u011fretmekten ge\u00e7iyor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>8. Ebeveyn-\u00c7ocuk Rol Kaymas\u0131<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Modern ebeveynlikte s\u0131k\u00e7a g\u00f6r\u00fclen bir ba\u015fka hata da ebeveynin \u00e7ocukla arkada\u015f olmaya \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmas\u0131. Oysa \u00e7ocuklar\u0131n arkada\u015flar\u0131 zaten var. Onlar\u0131n ihtiya\u00e7 duydu\u011fu \u015fey, kendilerine rehberlik edecek, s\u0131n\u0131r koyacak bir ebeveyndir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c7ocu\u011funuz sizi arkada\u015f gibi g\u00f6rebilir ama \u00f6nce ebeveyniniz. Otorite bo\u015flu\u011funu siz doldurmazsan\u0131z, akranlar doldurur.
